The frame is more solid but still lightweight. The cover for the classes is exceptionally well designed. The glasses are secure and protected. The best thing about the cover is that it folds up very small and fits into the pocket of my pants, without me even noticing it’s there. Well done!

Fragile but light!
I have a weird nose shape and other sunglasses would hurt my nose bridge. I did an internet search for lighweight sunglass frames and these came up. I stupidly put them away in my bag without their case and one of the temples broke, but was able to get a replacement temple for $15 on Maui Jim's website. Recommend these if you want something lightweight, but always put them in their case!

Ich hatte meine alte Maui Jim Breakwall leider verloren und zunächst ein anderes Modell ausprobiert – aber das war ein klarer Rückschritt. Beim Beachvolleyball saß die neue Brille nicht gut, verrutschte schnell und das Sichtfeld war bei weitem nicht so angenehm.Deshalb habe ich mir wieder die Breakwall geholt – und sie ist einfach unschlagbar:Beim Sport sitzt sie super, kein Wackeln, kein Rutschen.Beim Autofahren sorgt sie für klare, entspannte Sicht ohne Spiegelungen.Im Alltag merkt man sie kaum, weil sie extrem leicht und flexibel ist.Die Gläser sind brillant, der Tragekomfort top, und die Verarbeitung hält auch einiges aus. I’m on my 4th pair of these bifocal sunglasses, mostly because I love the brand and the lightweight, polarized style. They work great for driving, beach reading, fishing, etc. however, the consistently break at the top inner rim where the screw connects the lens to the frame. I’ve sent them back to Maui Jim a couple of times for a $90 repair. Still love them.

I lost ones I bought back in Spain; could not find anywhere at shops and happy it was still available on Amazon! These are the only sunglasses that don’t push on the bridge of my nose causing me a headache, very lightweight. The only downside, for some reason I have troubles seeing in them at the low evenings sun. It’s not helping to shade those rays.

I’ve been wearing Maui Jim’s for the past 20-years and they have never led me astray. They are my go-to sunglasses for all outdoor adventures! They are polarized, lightweight and look sharp! On one occasion, I noticed a small crack near the screw where it is attached to the frame. Maui Jim’s customer service immediately sent me a new pair of sunglasses. Highly recommend all Maui Jim glasses!
These are bi-focals
I could not find anywhere in the description if these were bi-focal or not. I wanted non-bifocal. The picture appears to be a non-bifocal lens, but when you get the sunglasses, you can definitely see they're bi-focal. I like the look but didn't want these. It would be great if the description said these are bi-focal.

These have been the best sunglasses I've ever owned. I continue to buy the same ones after losing or breaking them. The biggest reason I love them is because of how light weight they are. This is great for someone with a sensitive nose allowing you to wear them all day without any pressure on the nose. I’ve been a Maui Jim buyer for 20 years. The Breakwall is a very nice pair of sunglasses. The nose bridge is very tough as I’ve been wearing them on top of my head and hit against car when opening door and they don’t even budge. Very well built and flexible. The lens size is just right for my face and they have great coverage without looking too big. The glare reduction is great just like in any Maui Jim. The performance of these sun glasses makes them worth the full retail price of $190, but I’ve seen them on sale for as low as $140. If $190 is too steep and they aren’t on sale see if they have any ‘Used-Like New’. I did that for my first pair before they went on sale and got a great pair of sunglasses. Any way you buy them, they are worth the money and performance is great.

Fits very well, you can run or move without scaring that glasses Will drop. Also very good polarisation, and glasses curve to protect from sides nicely. I think these glasses emphasize green colour little. I like this blue iridium Outlook also. Maui Jim is my favourite sunglasses.

Literally just lenses held together with a small bridge and use nose pads to keep them comfortable. Ultra light.They really keep the sun out of your eyes, and they can be used for things that require precision because they keep your vision clear. But, the place where the small frame meets the lens at the temple can be an easy spot to snap them if you’re not careful.So, make use of the included case, or you could end up with two halves of a pair of glasses

These fit me well right after adjusting the nose pads. Look good. The reading pane is placed in the right spot, unlike some reviews that say it is too low. I do not plan to wear these to just read, I am 52 and do use reading glasses for the purpose. But in a pinch, when driving and looking at in car dash things, or reading a phone screen, they work great.

*UPDATE* (2023-07-22) : After wearing these for a few weeks, I noticed that I was getting smudges on the lenses so often that I was cleaning them all the time. Comparing to my old (broken) pair, I discovered that the new pair sat much closer to my cheekbones and eyelids (hence the smudges). The Maui Jim sales support kindly let me know that there was another version of Ho'okipa called "Universal/Asian Fit" (SKU 407N-02) which is slightly tweaked for higher cheekbones and a wider nose bridge. I ended up exchanging my pair with this modified version, and I'm so glad I did because they fit so much better and no more smudges! I have no idea if the original fit changed since my last pair, but I am happy that there is still a version that fits my head. No change in my ratings because the fact that these are awesome pair remains the same.*Original Review* : After crushing my last pair in my vest while traveling, I bought my third pair in the last 17 years. I keep coming back to Ho'okipa because I have not come across any other sunglasses that are as comfortable. They are so light that you almost forget that you're wearing them. My head is on the wider side, but the contoured frame fits securely without any pinching feel at all. The Neutral Grey lenses do a nice job reducing glares while maintaining the true colors.A positive change on this purchase was the inclusion of a collapsible case! This is the best spectacle case I have ever seen! It's lightweight, fits the Ho'okipa snugly, and it collapses flat into a 0.5"-thick candy bar when not in use! I can't believe how excited I am about a case!☺️I would highly recommend to at least try Ho'okipa! I love them despite their rather high price point.

I have had many pairs of these and decided to add the blue lens to my collection. They are great. I spend a lot of time on the water as a captain and these glasses are the best in my opinion. Lightweight, clear/crisp and polarizing. The READERS allow you to use your Health Saving Account $$, so why not get these with after-tax money???

Ist mittlerweile meine dritte, auf eine hat dich mein Sohn gesetzt. Der Tragekomfort ist super, sehr leicht und die Polarisierten Gläser sind top. Ein Nachteil, man erkennt im Head up Display nichts mehr. Wer damit gerne fährt, wird es eine Umstellung.Würde diese dennoch immer wieder kaufen.

I had need of some high quality sunglasses because my eye doctor informed me of developing cataracts. He told me polarized sunglasses would help by cutting down the UV light. Compounding this is the fact my vision is losing clarity so needed high quality lenses. I was advised that Maui Jim sunglasses were superior to the other two top contenders: Ray Ban and Oakley's. The advice proved true. The lens clarity has noticeable high tech treatment of light. I can look directly at the sun with them on without any discomfort. The clarity of the visual field is fantastic. The frame is very light and conforms nicely to my head. Unlike contending brands, the lens was curved to block like from the sides. And, unlike many sunglasses, my eyelashes did not brush the lenses. A word of caution: I tried three Maui Jim sunglasses on the :"try before you buy" program. Two came in large and one was medium. (I bought the medium root beer) However, the Amazon description for the sunglasses did have dimensions but did not use the term "medium" or "large". The size was noted only on the boxes. I actually liked the green mirror lenses slightly better but did not like the large frame size. (They kept slipping) I could not determine how to order the green lenses in the medium size so passed on those. So Amazon and Maui Jim lost a sale. I hope someone reads this and fixes the description. They are really good sunglasses and deserve to be bought. Declaring the size would help that.

Maui Jim sunglasses are the best on the market and these are no exception. Packaging is a carboard box without the conventional large tan hard case other Maui Jim glasses come with but it does give you a foldable black triangular prism case to use with these. This one is not as sturdy but is more portable and allows you to slip the folded case in a bag or pocket to take with you.The rose lenses are so calming/pleasing to the eye. There is a slight rose tint as you may expect and the standard Maui Jim polarization.Aesthetically you get the benefit of the aviator style without having to deal with the lackluster performance that comes with Ray Ban. Fantastic pair of sunglasses.

I've been buying these shades for more than 10 years now for my hubby, he absolutely loves them. Light weight, can't feel them when you're wearing it, polarised, great for driving, time resistant. Piece of advice don't wear them on a speedboat, as they'll fly right off :)

I am super hard on sunglasses with lots of fairly extreme outdoor activities. I am on my 5th pair of these after abusing their predecessors by running over them, being hit in face with a branch while mountain biking, dropping 50’ onto boulders, etc. It takes a lot to hurt them. The optics are spectacular, the fit and comfort is great, there is nothing not to like. My favorite color is the amber because they work great in bright sunlight and also on overcast days.

Die Brille ist optisch recht ansprechend. Leider sind einige Bilder irreführend, weil der Blauton der Brille auf einigen Bildern nicht mit dem Blauton der tatsächlichen Sonnenbrille übereinstimmt. Schön wäre es wenn man das dazugehörige Case auswählen könnte und als Alternative das optisch ansprechendere Small Clam Case auswählen könnte.

Aber als jahrzehnte langer Maui-Jim Fan und Besitzer von vielen Maui-Jim Sonnenbrillen kann ich nun sagen, dass ich hier tatsächlich eine original Maui Jim Sonnenbrille - genauso wie beschrieben - erhalten habe.Bereits beim ersetn Durchblicken erkennt man sofort die perfekten Farben, die nur durch die verschiedenen Maui Jim Filterschichten entstehen. Wenn man das einmal erlebt hat, will man nichts anderes mehr. Ich habe nahezu alle renommierten Sonnenbrillenmarken ausprobiert, ein Glas wie bei Maui Jim habe ich bisher nicht entdeckt. Die meisten anderen Sonnenbrillen färben das Sichtfeld je nach Farbe des Glases - es wird die Sicht entsprechend farbstichig und außerdem wird das Bild einfach dunkel.Eine Maui Jim schaltet die Blendung der Sonne aus, Kontraste nehmen zu, aber ohne wesentlich zu verdunkeln, jedenfalls nicht merklich aber alle Farben werden deutlich satter. Das Grün der Wiese wirkt saftiger, das Blau de Himmels viel intensiver blau, das Türkis des Meeres wirkt dramatisch. Durch die spezielle Polarisierung kann man tief ins Wasser sehen, da die Wasseroberfläche kaum noch reflektiert.Zudem setzt der Tragekomfort einer Maui Jim Maßstäbe. Die Brille ist leicht. Einmal aufgesetzt bleibt sie so sitzen und verruscht auch beim Sport nicht. Selbst einen ganzen Tag lang tragen erzeugt keine Druckstellen auf der Nase auch dank der speziellen Maui Gummi-Nasen-Oliven.Die Bügel und das Gestell sind typisch aus einem Maui-Jim-Kunststoff. Das Material ist hoch starpazierfähig.Eines verzeiht einem eine Maui Jim niemals : ein Mikrofasertuch, das nicht speziell für Brillen- Kunststoffgläser geeignet ist. Früher gab es immer zu jeder Maui Jim Sonnenbrille ein sehr aufweniges Etui - ein ganz Typisches mit Reißverschluss, absolut unkaputtbar, meine ältestes Maui-Etui ist jetzt mehr als 20 Jahre alt und man sieht das diesem nicht an, es wird sicher noch weitere 20 Jahre halten. Das aktuelle Etui ist so beknackt, anders kann man es nicht beschreiben, das man hochbegabt sein muss, um es zu verwenden. Anscheinend reicht mein Intellekt nicht aus um die Brille darin zu verstauen, ganz davon abgesehen, dass in einem Koffer die Brille darin im Gegensatz zu den alten Hüllen, gegen Druck nicht geschützt ist.Zum Glück hatte ich noch eine Hülle aus vergangenen Jahren über.Nun muss man sagen, dass es Jammern auf hohem Niveau ist. Ein Etui kann sich jederman für wenig Geld auch leicht kaufen.

I decided to try this color just to see how it was. I had eye surgery 4 years ago and have had some trouble driving with my photo-grey reading glasses-too much glare. These work great. They aren’t my first Maui Jim sunglasses. But my other pair has an old prescription in them that doesn’t work. My eyes continue to change. My red pair hasn’t a prescription and works very well for use in the California sun while driving.

Comfortable and light weight
They fit my small face well but could accommodate a larger face too. They look slightly oversized on me yet still feel like they fit. I am not Asian (at least not that I know of) but I've always had trouble finding glasses that sit well on my face. I do have a narrow nose bridge and higher cheekbones, so I'm finding that all of the Asian fit Maui Jim sunglasses fit perfectly on my face! I love how the nose bridge is rubber and flexible for a more custom fit. I got the rose tinted lenses which I thought would cause color distortion but I don't notice while wearing. I haven't run in them yet, which is primarily why I got this style, but I'm certain they'll be fantastic. I will update if they're not.

I've been through several pair of Coast's before finding out about Maui Jim's and now I'll never go back. The quality can't compare, Maui Jim's are on the leading edge of everything from the Featherlite weight frames to the crystal clear lens quality. My last pair of tgese were ran over by an 18 wheeler in a dirt parking lot and i was able to snap them back together the the only reason I have to buy a new pair is because I lost the last ones

The frame is more solid but still lightweight. The cover for the classes is exceptionally well designed. The glasses are secure and protected. The best thing about the cover is that it folds up very small and fits into the pocket of my pants, without me even noticing it’s there. Well done!

Fragile but light!
I have a weird nose shape and other sunglasses would hurt my nose bridge. I did an internet search for lighweight sunglass frames and these came up. I stupidly put them away in my bag without their case and one of the temples broke, but was able to get a replacement temple for $15 on Maui Jim's website. Recommend these if you want something lightweight, but always put them in their case!

Ich hatte meine alte Maui Jim Breakwall leider verloren und zunächst ein anderes Modell ausprobiert – aber das war ein klarer Rückschritt. Beim Beachvolleyball saß die neue Brille nicht gut, verrutschte schnell und das Sichtfeld war bei weitem nicht so angenehm.Deshalb habe ich mir wieder die Breakwall geholt – und sie ist einfach unschlagbar:Beim Sport sitzt sie super, kein Wackeln, kein Rutschen.Beim Autofahren sorgt sie für klare, entspannte Sicht ohne Spiegelungen.Im Alltag merkt man sie kaum, weil sie extrem leicht und flexibel ist.Die Gläser sind brillant, der Tragekomfort top, und die Verarbeitung hält auch einiges aus. Stylish but not durable
I’m on my 4th pair of these bifocal sunglasses, mostly because I love the brand and the lightweight, polarized style. They work great for driving, beach reading, fishing, etc. however, the consistently break at the top inner rim where the screw connects the lens to the frame. I’ve sent them back to Maui Jim a couple of times for a $90 repair. Still love them.

I lost ones I bought back in Spain; could not find anywhere at shops and happy it was still available on Amazon! These are the only sunglasses that don’t push on the bridge of my nose causing me a headache, very lightweight. The only downside, for some reason I have troubles seeing in them at the low evenings sun. It’s not helping to shade those rays.

I’ve been wearing Maui Jim’s for the past 20-years and they have never led me astray. They are my go-to sunglasses for all outdoor adventures! They are polarized, lightweight and look sharp! On one occasion, I noticed a small crack near the screw where it is attached to the frame. Maui Jim’s customer service immediately sent me a new pair of sunglasses. Highly recommend all Maui Jim glasses!
These are bi-focals
I could not find anywhere in the description if these were bi-focal or not. I wanted non-bifocal. The picture appears to be a non-bifocal lens, but when you get the sunglasses, you can definitely see they're bi-focal. I like the look but didn't want these. It would be great if the description said these are bi-focal.

These have been the best sunglasses I've ever owned. I continue to buy the same ones after losing or breaking them. The biggest reason I love them is because of how light weight they are. This is great for someone with a sensitive nose allowing you to wear them all day without any pressure on the nose. I’ve been a Maui Jim buyer for 20 years. The Breakwall is a very nice pair of sunglasses. The nose bridge is very tough as I’ve been wearing them on top of my head and hit against car when opening door and they don’t even budge. Very well built and flexible. The lens size is just right for my face and they have great coverage without looking too big. The glare reduction is great just like in any Maui Jim. The performance of these sun glasses makes them worth the full retail price of $190, but I’ve seen them on sale for as low as $140. If $190 is too steep and they aren’t on sale see if they have any ‘Used-Like New’. I did that for my first pair before they went on sale and got a great pair of sunglasses. Any way you buy them, they are worth the money and performance is great.

Fits very well, you can run or move without scaring that glasses Will drop. Also very good polarisation, and glasses curve to protect from sides nicely. I think these glasses emphasize green colour little. I like this blue iridium Outlook also. Maui Jim is my favourite sunglasses.

Literally just lenses held together with a small bridge and use nose pads to keep them comfortable. Ultra light.They really keep the sun out of your eyes, and they can be used for things that require precision because they keep your vision clear. But, the place where the small frame meets the lens at the temple can be an easy spot to snap them if you’re not careful.So, make use of the included case, or you could end up with two halves of a pair of glasses

These fit me well right after adjusting the nose pads. Look good. The reading pane is placed in the right spot, unlike some reviews that say it is too low. I do not plan to wear these to just read, I am 52 and do use reading glasses for the purpose. But in a pinch, when driving and looking at in car dash things, or reading a phone screen, they work great.

Nach meiner ersten schwarzen Brille, habe ich nun auf die blaue Version zugeschlagen. Habe zuvor noch den Verkäufer kontaktiert, ob das wirklich das Original ist. Dieser hat es mir schriftlich bestätigt, das dem so ist. Einige Rezensionen meinen das Gegenteil, aber wer weiß was da genau abgeht. I've tried many sunglasses over the years and have settled on Maui Jims as my favorite. The lenses are high quality and a pleasure to look through. This particular model is super light, which I was looking for. I love these sunglasses!
Best Sunglasses... now with a best case!
*UPDATE* (2023-07-22) : After wearing these for a few weeks, I noticed that I was getting smudges on the lenses so often that I was cleaning them all the time. Comparing to my old (broken) pair, I discovered that the new pair sat much closer to my cheekbones and eyelids (hence the smudges). The Maui Jim sales support kindly let me know that there was another version of Ho'okipa called "Universal/Asian Fit" (SKU 407N-02) which is slightly tweaked for higher cheekbones and a wider nose bridge. I ended up exchanging my pair with this modified version, and I'm so glad I did because they fit so much better and no more smudges! I have no idea if the original fit changed since my last pair, but I am happy that there is still a version that fits my head. No change in my ratings because the fact that these are awesome pair remains the same.*Original Review* : After crushing my last pair in my vest while traveling, I bought my third pair in the last 17 years. I keep coming back to Ho'okipa because I have not come across any other sunglasses that are as comfortable. They are so light that you almost forget that you're wearing them. My head is on the wider side, but the contoured frame fits securely without any pinching feel at all. The Neutral Grey lenses do a nice job reducing glares while maintaining the true colors.A positive change on this purchase was the inclusion of a collapsible case! This is the best spectacle case I have ever seen! It's lightweight, fits the Ho'okipa snugly, and it collapses flat into a 0.5"-thick candy bar when not in use! I can't believe how excited I am about a case!☺️I would highly recommend to at least try Ho'okipa! I love them despite their rather high price point.

I have had many pairs of these and decided to add the blue lens to my collection. They are great. I spend a lot of time on the water as a captain and these glasses are the best in my opinion. Lightweight, clear/crisp and polarizing. The READERS allow you to use your Health Saving Account $$, so why not get these with after-tax money???
Sehr angenehm zu tragen
Ist mittlerweile meine dritte, auf eine hat dich mein Sohn gesetzt. Der Tragekomfort ist super, sehr leicht und die Polarisierten Gläser sind top. Ein Nachteil, man erkennt im Head up Display nichts mehr. Wer damit gerne fährt, wird es eine Umstellung.Würde diese dennoch immer wieder kaufen.
Great pair of sunglasses
I had need of some high quality sunglasses because my eye doctor informed me of developing cataracts. He told me polarized sunglasses would help by cutting down the UV light. Compounding this is the fact my vision is losing clarity so needed high quality lenses. I was advised that Maui Jim sunglasses were superior to the other two top contenders: Ray Ban and Oakley's. The advice proved true. The lens clarity has noticeable high tech treatment of light. I can look directly at the sun with them on without any discomfort. The clarity of the visual field is fantastic. The frame is very light and conforms nicely to my head. Unlike contending brands, the lens was curved to block like from the sides. And, unlike many sunglasses, my eyelashes did not brush the lenses. A word of caution: I tried three Maui Jim sunglasses on the :"try before you buy" program. Two came in large and one was medium. (I bought the medium root beer) However, the Amazon description for the sunglasses did have dimensions but did not use the term "medium" or "large". The size was noted only on the boxes. I actually liked the green mirror lenses slightly better but did not like the large frame size. (They kept slipping) I could not determine how to order the green lenses in the medium size so passed on those. So Amazon and Maui Jim lost a sale. I hope someone reads this and fixes the description. They are really good sunglasses and deserve to be bought. Declaring the size would help that.

Maui Jim sunglasses are the best on the market and these are no exception. Packaging is a carboard box without the conventional large tan hard case other Maui Jim glasses come with but it does give you a foldable black triangular prism case to use with these. This one is not as sturdy but is more portable and allows you to slip the folded case in a bag or pocket to take with you.The rose lenses are so calming/pleasing to the eye. There is a slight rose tint as you may expect and the standard Maui Jim polarization.Aesthetically you get the benefit of the aviator style without having to deal with the lackluster performance that comes with Ray Ban. Fantastic pair of sunglasses.

Best shades
I've been buying these shades for more than 10 years now for my hubby, he absolutely loves them. Light weight, can't feel them when you're wearing it, polarised, great for driving, time resistant. Piece of advice don't wear them on a speedboat, as they'll fly right off :)

Overall very happy with product. Super lightweight, great lenses, as well as great value for money. One slight concern is that glasses might feel a little flimsy, but other than that great product. I bought some ray ban aviators before getting these guys and the difference is literally night and day

Maui Jim, I love your sunglasses, but I wish you'd make them as full readers and not bifocals! I want to use them while driving and hiking and going to the beach, not for reading. Ha ha! Some of us need glasses to do those things...and to see friends coming from a distance.

I am super hard on sunglasses with lots of fairly extreme outdoor activities. I am on my 5th pair of these after abusing their predecessors by running over them, being hit in face with a branch while mountain biking, dropping 50’ onto boulders, etc. It takes a lot to hurt them. The optics are spectacular, the fit and comfort is great, there is nothing not to like. My favorite color is the amber because they work great in bright sunlight and also on overcast days.

1. Fit is perfect AND totally comfortable.2. These are the only readers that do not bother me with lousy reader lens placement. I have to look down to read - just how I like it.3. They are fantastic in the sun. No glare and great filter. I use them on dive boats in the Caribbean sun. Could not survive without them!4. I will buy a second pair as a backup.

They are expensive, but worth the money if you are looking to invest in a very good pair of sunglasses with readers. I primarily use them for golfing. The bifocal does not impact my game. The readers allow me to look at the score card, gps, etc.

I am and always will be a huge fan of Maui Jim sunglasses. This is the 10th pair I have owned in my lifetime and I loved them from the moment I unboxed them. I had tried the baby beach in Rose/Gold first because I don't have a giant face/head; they were clearly made for small faces and heads.I highly recommend this style to anyone regardless of which lens shade you choose. I like the rose lenses, they are cool looking and they do the job for sun protection!

Die Brille ist optisch recht ansprechend. Leider sind einige Bilder irreführend, weil der Blauton der Brille auf einigen Bildern nicht mit dem Blauton der tatsächlichen Sonnenbrille übereinstimmt. Schön wäre es wenn man das dazugehörige Case auswählen könnte und als Alternative das optisch ansprechendere Small Clam Case auswählen könnte.

Aber als jahrzehnte langer Maui-Jim Fan und Besitzer von vielen Maui-Jim Sonnenbrillen kann ich nun sagen, dass ich hier tatsächlich eine original Maui Jim Sonnenbrille - genauso wie beschrieben - erhalten habe.Bereits beim ersetn Durchblicken erkennt man sofort die perfekten Farben, die nur durch die verschiedenen Maui Jim Filterschichten entstehen. Wenn man das einmal erlebt hat, will man nichts anderes mehr. Ich habe nahezu alle renommierten Sonnenbrillenmarken ausprobiert, ein Glas wie bei Maui Jim habe ich bisher nicht entdeckt. Die meisten anderen Sonnenbrillen färben das Sichtfeld je nach Farbe des Glases - es wird die Sicht entsprechend farbstichig und außerdem wird das Bild einfach dunkel.Eine Maui Jim schaltet die Blendung der Sonne aus, Kontraste nehmen zu, aber ohne wesentlich zu verdunkeln, jedenfalls nicht merklich aber alle Farben werden deutlich satter. Das Grün der Wiese wirkt saftiger, das Blau de Himmels viel intensiver blau, das Türkis des Meeres wirkt dramatisch. Durch die spezielle Polarisierung kann man tief ins Wasser sehen, da die Wasseroberfläche kaum noch reflektiert.Zudem setzt der Tragekomfort einer Maui Jim Maßstäbe. Die Brille ist leicht. Einmal aufgesetzt bleibt sie so sitzen und verruscht auch beim Sport nicht. Selbst einen ganzen Tag lang tragen erzeugt keine Druckstellen auf der Nase auch dank der speziellen Maui Gummi-Nasen-Oliven.Die Bügel und das Gestell sind typisch aus einem Maui-Jim-Kunststoff. Das Material ist hoch starpazierfähig.Eines verzeiht einem eine Maui Jim niemals : ein Mikrofasertuch, das nicht speziell für Brillen- Kunststoffgläser geeignet ist. Die Oberfläche der Gläser wird durch ein Mikrofasertuch sofort blind.Ansonsten sind die Gläser sehr resistent gegen Kratzer. Meine älteste noch täglich im Auto benutzete Maui Jim ist mehr als 15 Jahre alt und hat keinerlei Kratzer.Einzig: Maui Jim - was habt ihr Euch bei der bescheuertes Hülle gedacht. Früher gab es immer zu jeder Maui Jim Sonnenbrille ein sehr aufweniges Etui - ein ganz Typisches mit Reißverschluss, absolut unkaputtbar, meine ältestes Maui-Etui ist jetzt mehr als 20 Jahre alt und man sieht das diesem nicht an, es wird sicher noch weitere 20 Jahre halten. Das aktuelle Etui ist so beknackt, anders kann man es nicht beschreiben, das man hochbegabt sein muss, um es zu verwenden. Anscheinend reicht mein Intellekt nicht aus um die Brille darin zu verstauen, ganz davon abgesehen, dass in einem Koffer die Brille darin im Gegensatz zu den alten Hüllen, gegen Druck nicht geschützt ist.Zum Glück hatte ich noch eine Hülle aus vergangenen Jahren über.Nun muss man sagen, dass es Jammern auf hohem Niveau ist. Ein Etui kann sich jederman für wenig Geld auch leicht kaufen.

I decided to try this color just to see how it was. I had eye surgery 4 years ago and have had some trouble driving with my photo-grey reading glasses-too much glare. These work great. They aren’t my first Maui Jim sunglasses. But my other pair has an old prescription in them that doesn’t work. My eyes continue to change. My red pair hasn’t a prescription and works very well for use in the California sun while driving.

Comfortable and light weight
They fit my small face well but could accommodate a larger face too. They look slightly oversized on me yet still feel like they fit. I am not Asian (at least not that I know of) but I've always had trouble finding glasses that sit well on my face. I do have a narrow nose bridge and higher cheekbones, so I'm finding that all of the Asian fit Maui Jim sunglasses fit perfectly on my face! I love how the nose bridge is rubber and flexible for a more custom fit. I got the rose tinted lenses which I thought would cause color distortion but I don't notice while wearing. I haven't run in them yet, which is primarily why I got this style, but I'm certain they'll be fantastic. I will update if they're not.

I've been through several pair of Coast's before finding out about Maui Jim's and now I'll never go back. The quality can't compare, Maui Jim's are on the leading edge of everything from the Featherlite weight frames to the crystal clear lens quality. My last pair of tgese were ran over by an 18 wheeler in a dirt parking lot and i was able to snap them back together the the only reason I have to buy a new pair is because I lost the last ones
