Improved visibility while driving!

These sunglasses are great for driving filtering out lots of the glare. They look good too!. Fit is snug so they don't fall off your face and they are comfortable. only negative is that the joint on the nose piece has separated in the past requiring a drop of super glue.

I think this is my 7th or 8th pair of these sunglasses. These are so lightweight, I can wear them all day and they never cause fatigue or marks on the bridge of my nose or over my ears. I wish the glasses still came with the more sturdy zipper case so they didn't get crushed when packed for travel, but maybe Maui Jim's doesn't make those any more?? Nor did I get the traditional flower print protective drawstring bag I've always loved - is that not still a standard? Otherwise, the glasses themselves are as great as always - love them!

The Maui Jim reading glasses (bifocal) are outstanding, as has been my experience with them for many years with various sunglasses.Great for patio reading, outdoor restaurants, driving and seeing the smaller details of the dashboard more clearly, walking and needing to see your phone…..and more uses I’m sure! Would definitely buy again.

Great, lightweight and flexible frame. These are the kind of sunglasses that you forget you're wearing, they're soo clear, soo light, and have no frame visible in your peripheral. I really liked the shape of the lens. The Maui Ht Polarized lens is fantastic, very clear and sharp. Good contrast, not quite what I was looking for but a great pair of sunglasses.

I lamented the passing of my old, out of production Nike Hardbox Square polarized sunglasses because its unique lens shape suited my roundish face features. So I was pleasantly relieved that this Lighthouse model nearly matched the same lens shape. It took a little getting use to the soft frame material, but I found that it easily conforms to my oddly shaped head with one ear a quarter of an inch higher on one side without having to bend the frame. Very comfortable and light with the usual Maui Jim high quality polarized gray lens which greatly reduces glare. Highly recommended.

As an aging guy, I need to wear reading glasses to read print on flyers, menus, etc. These combination sunglasses/reading glasses do a great job of doing both. They're a little pricey, but it's better than carrying a separate pair of reading glasses everywhere I go.

I have been using Maui Jim sunglasses for many years. Lost a pair in the grocery store last week, and of course nobody had the decency to turn in. So bought these, they fit and feel good, will be more careful about carrying them! Had the other pair for 8 years, were still in great shape so some thief has a nicesunglasses, very similar to these but hope karma rules and they break them. This pair came from Sunglass Hut, so genuine and fast shipping.

This is my 3rd or 4th pair of Maui Jims. I love that they are so lightweight, comfortable, and stylish. Polarized lenses are very important to me for my eye health and to reduce glare while driving. Sporty for activities. Highly recommend. My last pair I stuffed in my purse and promptly sat on them, breaking the bow. I sent them in to Maui Jim for repair - it only cost me $10 shipping. A couple years later, I lost them. So here I am again ordering more!

Truly, the best polarized sunglasses on the planet. Would buy 100 times over. You can’t go wrong with Maui Jim’s. Great sunglasses. They are the only ones I’ve purchased over the last 20 years and will definitely stand behind that.UPDATE: Another pair of Maui Jim’s. I’ve never lost a pair, until my most recent pair requiring me to replace them. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve been buying the frames with readers available. They actually area/window of bifocal is relatively small and, although some have rightfully complained about it, I’m glad the option is available. It’s usually sufficient to allow me to respond to an email or text and not have to switch glasses. Really at this point, they should just send me a free pair every year.

Save your money. Glasses slipped off my head while on a 6' ladder and fell on dirt , the frame broke . Cheap material.Wrote an e-mail to MAUI JIM, never heard from them. I guess that's how it works these days, produce cheap, sell high. After being contacted by a MAUI JIM CSR I did send in my glasses for repair. Worth Every Penny

I am a biased Maui Jim supporter. I work on the water in FL so glasses are a must. These fight the glare and shine perfectly. They are so light, I have poked my finger on the lens many time to see if I am wearing them. Try them for yourself. Their repair department is fast and very courteous, If you're disappointed, you are just upset they cost as much as they do. I think they are worth every penny. I would bet I have bought over twenty pair. No they did not pay me for my review although they should!

Extremely Lightweight

These are nice sunglasses, and not expensive at all. They are extremely light weight, so I am not expecting them to last long with a very active lifestyle... at least nearly as long as the MJ Frigate. I got these as a set of hiking, and fun sunglasses. If they get wrecked, I won't feel too bad.

Love the lenses, wish they were slightly heavier maybe. They sometimes pop up off my nose when wearing a hat like they are too light. But they never do it with no hat so just interfere. Maybe bad hat fit. Other sunglasses I cant even wear with a hat I get a headache because they squish my temples. But these I can wear all day with baseball cap no problem.

The best pair of sunglasses I have ever owned. The amber lenses allows me to wear them on overcast days without my view becoming too dark. They are so light that I sometimes forget that I am wearing them. My ophthalmologist recommends them and I feel that my eyes are being protected from glare and harmful ultraviolet rays. I find it best to clean them as instructed.

Super Light - no Slip & Slid in the hot AZ summer

I had a pair of full-frame Maui Jim's decades ago that were heavy and constantly slid off my nose. Not these beauties (Rootbeer). Very light, and no slippage. Full coverage lenses means no gaps for the brutal AZ sun to penetrate. The rectangle lenses fit my face well and seem to cover most sun angles. In AZ, Polarization is absolutely necessary. Because of the Nylon arms, these seem "flimsy" or easily damaged, so I will be careful, but my last pair (different popular brand) lasted me 10 years. I'll take care. These feel good, and don't slide down the nose, no matter how much sweating the AZ sun creates (Bonus!). The only "downside" I might mention is, that because of the nylon arms, this pair does not seem to stay securely on the head.

Eye Protection from The Sun

I had been to a retina specialist so my pupils were very dilated; usually that is really a problem driving back home. These sunglasses keep out the sun glare so effectively...the drive was not that bad. A couple of days later I had to wait in an entrance line in the sun and could easily read an article in a magazine. Sometimes sunglasses are dark so they make reading difficult.

Still my favourite pair of sunglasses. Feather light, so great for hiking and wearing all day long. They don't slip at all. I sometimes have to wear hearing protection, and the arms of the glasses are small and light enough to allow me to do so without getting a headache from plastic pressing into my head for hours.

I've had these sunglasses for over six years and they are wonderful! I haven't been the most careful with them but they've always held up. At one point the soft rubber nose piece came off and Maui Jim sent me a replacement for free.
