Nice pair of glasses.

Nice frames. The only issue I have is the left arm on the frames have a unnatural curve that presses against the side of my head. Trying to flex it out but it stays in the same position. Any solutions?

Good, light pair of frames!

I got these through my vision care facility and with my coverage the frames were comparable in price as getting through the big 'A'.That being said, I really like these frames. I have the Demi Gloss Blue pair. I'm not sure where to start, but they feel very light, almost to the point that I can't tell they're on my face. They're a great deal lighter than my previous pair of glasses, which were plastic full-frames. I have high-index lenses in due to the strength of my near-sightedness, which helps with keeping the weight down (normal plastic or glass lenses will add weight).The pictures on Amazon are fairly representative of the colors of the frames, though the front is slightly translucent, so if you're in a brighter environment they'll appear lighter, where as in dark environments they'll be slightly darker (as light isn't going through them as much). The outer arms are black carbon fibre and the inside is a light blue carbon fibre with "Ray-Ban" printed repeatedly along the arm.At the end of the arms are rubber pads about an inch or so in length. They really help with keeping the frames on my head when looking around. My last pair fell off easily and I think with the curvature of the arms and the pads help the glasses stay on more securely. I did have slight discomfort when I first got them due to the fact they hug the back of my head at the end of the arms. I've never had glasses that did that, but after a few days I no longer noticed the discomfort. I read other reviews on how the pads started falling off and I can say that confident that as long as I'm not rough the pads should stay on without issue, and this is at about 2 months of ownership and with a 3 and a half year old in the home that loves to swipe my glasses off my face. That being said, if I took my fingernail i could probably pry them off.A possible downside is that the arms do not have springs in them if you happen to need/want that feature. These are beautiful glasses. The real carbon fiber sides are subtle in appearance, and add a touch a modernity to a relatively simple looking pair of glasses. People usually throw in a compliment once they notice the nice looking weave of the carbon fiber. The arms and strong and flexible, and can be bent pretty far.I mentioned that this item fits somewhat large, I say so because I am Asian and have flatter facial features. Oakley eyewear has what they call an "Asian Fit" to accommodate for this. I wished Rayban offered something similar for these glasses. On me, they tend to slide down and need to be adjusted, however, I have not had them fall off m head for this reason. I ordered silicone nose pads and it helped correct this fitment issue, while making the glasses even more comfy to wear.

They are super light and comfortable

I bought these and had the Rx filled at Costco. They are super light and comfortable. The only negative is that I am noticing some tiny cracks in the frame, that don't appear to be significant, but I can definitely see them. Not sure if there is a warranty, if they were to get worse. Other than that these might be the most comfortable frames I've ever worn.

Best Ray Ban Frames Yet

These are fantastic frames. They are by far the lightest frames that I have ever had. I'm not afraid of them breaking because the carbon fiber is very flexible. The fit is great, exactly as the product specifies, and the rubber molding near the ears really helps keep the glasses on your face even when trying to shake the glasses off. I can't imagine a better pair of Ray Ban frames.

This is high Quality frames. Carbon Fibre textured detailing on temples is eye catching and not screaming. Best of all size 53mm fit perfectly on my asia face.

Awesome fit, I can't even count how many compliments I got on them. My only complaint is that the glasses tend to slip easily ( although tight glasses would be bothersome). The hinges felt a little cheap compared to my Marchon Carlton glasses, they also did not fit as tight. I would however recommend these glasses to those looking for style and comfort, for people that want a distinguished look.

Bought these frames to replace a my Chesterfield XL frame that I recently lost. I liked the Chesterfields but they were relatively heavy and they always slid down my nose, even when I was not engaged in activity... and fell off several times while doing light to moderate physical activities.The Ray Ban RX8901 are fantastic!The frames are very light, (22 grams with my prescription, progressive bi-focal lenses) yet very sturdy. The temple pieces are made of layered carbon fiber and include incorporated rubber pads that sit over and just behind the ears. The pads comfortably keep the frames positioned securely and squarely on my noggin all day long.The lens areas are large enough to provide a nice viewing area for my progressive bifocals.I bought the frames in matte black and I really like the finish. I plan to wear these for years to come.
